Caring & Serving

hands for hope

Hands for Hope notes: We welcome new members. Join us at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Contact Marge Lundeen

At a recent meeting, Hands for Hope members took time to celebrate the work of their hands and asked God’s blessing on all that they have made to share with others.

Dear Gracious God, we ask your blessing on the prayer shawls, knitted baby caps and blankets lovingly made to be given to those in need of comfort and prayers. They have been made at St. John’s and in homes by many individuals.

Bless the rolled bandages precisely made to be sent to Global Health Ministries for the sick and needy. We ask for your blessing on the workers at GHM and in the fields afar in foreign lands.

Bless the quilts made from donated materials by caring hands. They will be given locally to the needy for warmth and comfort.

Bless all the recipients so that they may know peace and God’s love and be aware of the prayers said on their behalf.

Also pictured are quilts that have made and given to those in need.

If you wish to be a part of this ministry you are welcome!

Finally, Lord, bless the men and women who have used their hands to make the items to serve others, thereby serving you, Lord. With thankful hearts, we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
