WELCOME TO WORSHIP AT ST. JOHN'S!

Worship is the center of congregational life - to strengthen God's people and publicly proclaim Jesus Christ.  We give thanks that the Holy Spirit gathers us together.  We look forward to worshiping with you!

Communion is offered at both services on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays of the month.  All baptized Christians, regardless of home church and denomination are welcome and encouraged to received Jesus Christ who is present in, with, and under the bread and wine of Holy Communion.  Grape Juice is also available.

Members and friends are encouraged to bring a Bible to worship.  If you do not have a Bible, you may order one from the church office.

 Worship Services - Sunday 8:30 & 10:00

The people of God are called by the Holy Spirit to gather around the word of God and the sacraments, so that the Spirit may in turn send them into the world to continue the mission of God.

St. John's offers two worship services on Sunday morning intended to inspire and prepare you in your worship throughout the week:

8:30 AM Traditional Worship Service
The Traditional Worship Service at St. John's is more formal in style, centered on the worship of God, with the warmth of a community celebration.  Music is a mixture of hymns led by organ and piano.  Special music is provided by the Senior Choir, as well as by the many talented members of our congregation.  Each service is planned  individually to communicate the season of the church year.

10:00 AM Contemporary Worship Service
St. John's Contemporary Worship Service is less formal in style, combining stirring teachings with dynamic music.  The music, led by the Rejoice Singers, is vibrant and sets the tone for this worship service.  The music is from a variety of sources, including many contemporary Christian composers.  The messages will inspire you to become closer to God, and to your family and friends.

 Coffee & Treats

Everyone is welcome to stay for coffee and treats served in the Gathering Area after each service.
