Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast + Silent Auction

On Sunday, March 24, 2024 we will be hosting our 1st Annual Silent Auction that will take place during our traditional Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast at St. John’s Lutheran Church. We anticipate approximately 300 guests at this breakfast. All funds raised benefit the St. John’s Mission Trip Fund, which helps alleviate the cost of service trips for youth from the Annandale area. During the summer of 2024, we have 10 (6th-8th grade) youth travelling to Madison, Wisconsin and 23 (7th-12th grade) youth travelling to New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a great opportunity for you to support our youth as they experience life changing + faith strengthening service learning trips.

How You Can Help!

We are seeking your support as a donor and/or sponsor for this event. The donation and/or sponsorship that you contribute will directly benefit youth from the Annandale area who are participating in mission trips through St. John’s. Your support will help with registration fees, travel expenses, on-site needs for the mission trips, and all expenses associated with the silent auction event. We are asking families and area businesses to assist us through silent auction donations (cash, gift certificates, certificates/tickets for an event, experiences, travel opportunities, and/or baskets of merchandise). In addition to helping the youth of our community, you will receive excellent community acknowledgement through all of the event’s advertising. Auction items will be on display for bidding beginning at 8:00am on Sunday, March 17 through noon on Sunday, March 24.

  • All donors will be recognized and mentioned through flyers and during the event. Or, if you prefer to remain an anonymous contributor, let us know and we will honor your request.
  • All of your donations are tax deductible! Our non-profit tax identification number is: 41-1459295.
  • For your records, you will be mailed a receipt following the auction.
  • We ask all donations to be received by March 11, 2024.

We also invite you to join us on Sunday, March 24 from 8:00am-12:00pm to enjoy our famous Pancake Breakfast while browsing and bidding on silent auction items in support of our youth.
